The past General Secretary of the Nigerian Bar Association(NBA) Mr. Jonathan Gunu Taidi, Esq, has sent a goodwill message to the entire members of NBA Benin Branch (Lion Bar) on the occasion of its last meeting of the year 2021.

In his goodwill message, Mr Taidi,Esq said ” I congratulate the Chairman and the entire members of the Nigerian Bar Association, Benin Branch, (Lion Bar) on the occasion of its last meeting of the year 2021.

The branch meeting which is scheduled for Sunday, 5th December, 2021 is an avenue to appraise the work that has been effectively executed by the Branch during the preceding year, and deliberate on the successes, challenges and prospects of the upcoming year.

The year 2021 has been challenging, unique and saturated with many post pandemic and security upheavals which took its toll on the legal profession in particular and the administration of justice generally.

I commend the leadership of Lion Bar for its steadfastness in handling issues confronting the branch.

It is my hope that the branch continues to fashion out strategies that will address the legal needs of low and moderate income persons in Edo State and beyond.

NBA Benin Branch has taken the lead in shaping, defining and strengthening a culture of inclusion. The Branch leadership, through its noble stance on issues, has put in place a culture of shared sense of purpose.

I wish the Lion Bar focused and fruitful deliberations.
