I must say that the National Executive Committee meeting of the NBA which held in Abeokuta was most fruitful and successful. The local branches of the NBA in the state were fantastic in their preparation. I must not fail to thank the Honourable the Chief Judge of Ogun state for a very rich and sumptuous welcome cocktail. It was arguably the most lavish cocktail ever organised for NEC members by any Chief Judge. I must again thank my lord for sparing nothing in ensuring that we enjoyed our stay.I also want to commend our president for the way he conducted the meeting and the far reaching decisions reaches thereat. I must single out the timeous setting up of the Election committee of the NBA (ECNBA) to conduct next year’s election of National officers. The caliber and integrity of those appointed into the said Committee is an indication of the fact that the NBA is poised to organise its elections to meet world class standards and to the satisfaction of her members.This explains why the NEC at the said meeting unanimously passed a vote of confidence on the leadership style ot the president as well as endorsed and ratified all steps and actions he had taken on behalf of the Association. I pray that the NBA will continue to play its leading role in society and in the pursuit of the Rule of Law. I wish all attendees of the NEC meeting safe return to their respective destinations, a wonderful Christmas and a prosperous New year.
