Elated Ede Asenoguan has congratulated the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their impeccable performance so far at AFCON 2021 holding in Cameroon.
His words:

“I was never in doubt as regards our qualification to the next round of the competition, but I mustn’t mince words in expressing my delight at the performance thus far. Qualifying to the round of 16 of AFCON on a hundred percent record is no mean feat. The team is compact and same is evident in the fact that we are yet to concede a goal in open play.

Again, as I remarked in my previous congratulatory message, I must not fail to specifically and specially congratulate Austin Eguavoen for repeating his 2006 100% qualification record. The man is a technician par excellence.

At this point, we just need to put our heads down, keep our act together and win the next 4 matches and become champions of Africa for the 4th time. I am very optimistic in this regard.

Once more, congratulations, to the Super Eagles of Nigeria, congratulations to all Nigerians. We are on course to victory in this competition”
